Doug Robertson joined Lendlease in September of 2016 to work on the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital for Western Health in Victoria. His primary role today named to reflect Lendlease’s digital objectives as “Digital Engineering Delivery Manager” is to execute the Digital Engineering Execution Plan (DExP) and ensure Digital Delivery Requirements are in accordance with Project and Client requirements.
Doug has over 30+ years in the construction industry, he has traversed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping) Design, Construction and BIM Management in the Consultant and Contractors world prior to joining Lendlease. Some of the major project he has been involved in include, Sydney Olympic Stadium, Monash Uni New Horizons Laboratory, numerous high-rise developments and over a dozen major city and regional hospitals. In addition, Doug worked on the $300 million Melbourne Park Redevelopment in the Melbourne Olympic Park Precinct including the iconic Rod Laver Arena.
With a sea of high-end BIM information available today, his focus is on improving the efficiencies of consultants and contractors to produce practical results in a high-tech BIM world.
